AHA Hydration Mono-System™

LA-80Complex

LA-80 Mono — A high-concentration 80% lactic acid for maximum hydrating resurfacing with skin barrier support and moisture retention. At 80% concentration, Lactic Acid drives aggressive yet controlled exfoliation while simultaneously acting as a humectant that boosts skin barrier repair and natural moisture production. Its mild pigment-reducing properties provide gentle brightening. Its larger molecular weight (90 Da) compared to glycolic acid ensures uniform penetration without the irritation hotspots or excessive dryness common in high-concentration glycolic systems.

Application Protocol

Recommended sequence for prodermic L80. Frequency: As prescribed by professional.

Step 01
Cleanse and prep skin thoroughly
Step 02
Apply product as directed by protocol
Step 03
Follow post-procedure care instructions
Mechanism of Action
Lactic Acid (80%)
High-concentration AHA with optimal pKa for deep penetration. Disrupts corneocyte cohesion via chelation of calcium ions in desmosomes. Uniquely hydrating due to humectant properties—increases ceramide synthesis and skin hydration. Also inhibits tyrosinase for mild brightening. Larger molecular size than glycolic provides controlled, even penetration ideal for sensitive and dry skin types.
