Composition
| Ingredient | Concentration | Role |
|---|---|---|
| Glutathione (15%) | Master antioxidant — converts eumelanin (dark pigment) to phaeomelanin (lighter form) via pheomelanin switching pathway | |
| Glycolic Acid (25%) | Alpha-hydroxy acid that disrupts corneocyte cohesion for controlled exfoliation and enhanced penetration of actives | |
| Kojic Acid (15%) | Chelates copper ions essential for tyrosinase activity, directly inhibiting melanin biosynthesis | |
| Lactic Acid (10%) | Gentle AHA providing hydration-coupled exfoliation, reduces post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation risk | |
| Salicylic Acid (2%) | Lipophilic BHA — penetrates sebaceous follicles, clears pore-level pigment deposits and prevents comedonal recurrence |
Indications
- Melasma
- Post-Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation
- Full-Body Brightening

Procedure
- 01
Cleanse & Degrease
3–4 minDouble-cleanse: first with micellar water to remove surface impurities, then with pre-peel degreasing solution applied with gauze in upward strokes.
- Degreasing contact: 1–2 minutes. Wipe clean. Allow skin to fully air-dry for 30 seconds before application.
- 02
Patch Test (First Session)
10 minApply a small amount behind the ear or on the inner forearm. Observe for 10 minutes for erythema, itching, or adverse reaction.
- Mandatory for first-time patients. If irritation occurs, do not proceed. Document result in patient chart.
- 03
Apply prodermic 590
3–4 minUsing a fan brush, apply 1–1.5ml of product in a thin, uniform layer. Work systematically: forehead → cheeks → nose → chin → upper lip. Avoid eyelids, lips, and nostrils.
- Total active concentration is 67%. Start with minimal contact time and build gradually across sessions.
- 04
Monitor & Titrate
8–25 minObserve skin response continuously. Target endpoint: uniform mild erythema (pink flush). Slight tingling is expected. Watch for frosting, intense redness, or patient discomfort.
- Session 1: 8–10 min max. Session 2: 12–15 min. Session 3+: up to 20–25 min based on tolerance.
- 05
Neutralize
2–3 minApply neutralizing solution (sodium bicarbonate or prodermic neutralizer) generously. Gently remove all product residue with damp gauze. Rinse with cold water.
- Neutralize thoroughly — residual glycolic or salicylic acid can cause post-peel burns. Confirm skin pH has returned to normal.
- 06
Post-Peel Care & Discharge
3–5 minApply recovery balm or soothing moisturizer. Layer with SPF 50+ broad-spectrum sunscreen. Provide written post-care instructions and schedule follow-up.
- No actives, makeup, or sun exposure for remainder of the day. Emphasize SPF compliance for pigmentation patients.
Post-procedure
| Day 0 | Peel Day Recovery moisturizer applied in clinic. No actives, makeup, or sun exposure for remainder of day. Sleep on clean pillowcase. |
| Days 1–2 | Tightness Phase Skin may feel tight and dry. Gentle cleanser 2x daily. Rich moisturizer 3–4x daily. SPF 50+ mandatory before any sun exposure. |
| Days 3–5 | Peeling Phase Mild flaking may occur. Do NOT pick or force peeling. Continue intensive moisturization and strict SPF. |
| Days 5–7 | Recovery Skin renewal visible. Resume light makeup if needed. Avoid retinoids, AHAs, and BHAs until Day 7. |
