Composition
| Ingredient | Concentration | Role |
|---|---|---|
| Glycolic Acid (30%) | High-concentration AHA for rapid keratolysis — breaks down corneocyte bonds for immediate surface renewal and glow | |
| Lactic Acid (20%) | Hydrating AHA that exfoliates while attracting moisture, preventing post-peel dryness and supporting plumping effect | |
| Arginine (20%) | Amino acid that buffers acid pH for controlled penetration, enhances cellular metabolism, and supports collagen synthesis |
Indications
- Pre-Event Skin Prep
- Dull & Tired Skin
- Pre-Wedding Glow
- Fine Lines
- Rough Texture
- Mild Pigmentation
Procedure
- 01
Cleanse & Degrease
2–3 minCleanse with gentle, non-residue cleanser. Remove all makeup, sunscreen, and surface oils. Degrease with pre-peel solution using gauze.
- Allow skin to air-dry for 30 seconds after degreasing. Do not use toner or any additional products.
- 02
Patch Test (First Session)
5–10 minApply a small amount behind the ear or inner forearm. Observe for 5–10 minutes for any adverse reaction.
- First session only. Discontinue if erythema, itching, or swelling occurs.
- 03
Apply prodermic 552
2–3 minUsing a fan brush, apply a thin, even layer across the face. Work systematically: forehead, cheeks, nose, chin. Avoid eyelids and lips. The arginine buffer allows comfortable application.
- Total active: 70%. Despite high concentration, arginine buffer makes this well-tolerated. Mild warmth is normal.
- 04
Monitor Contact Time
5–15 minObserve skin continuously. Target: uniform mild pinkness (erythema level 1). Slight tingling is normal and expected. This is a rapid-result peel — shorter contact times are key.
- Session 1: 5–8 min. Subsequent sessions: up to 12–15 min. Do NOT exceed 15 min for glow protocol.
- 05
Neutralize
2–3 minApply neutralizing solution generously. Remove all product with damp gauze. Rinse with cold water to close pores and calm skin.
- Thorough neutralization is essential. Residual glycolic acid can cause irritation.
- 06
Post-Peel Finish
5–8 minApply hydrating recovery mask or recovery balm for 5 minutes. Follow with SPF 50+ sunscreen. Skin should appear immediately brighter and plumper.
- For pre-event use: schedule 3–5 days before the event to allow any mild peeling to complete. Immediate glow is visible same day.
Post-procedure
| Day 0 | Peel Day Immediate glow visible. No actives or makeup for 6 hours. Recovery moisturizer applied. SPF 50+ if going outdoors. |
| Day 1 | Glow Day Skin appears bright and refreshed. Gentle cleanser + moisturizer. SPF 50+ mandatory. May apply light makeup. |
| Days 2–3 | Mild Renewal Very mild flaking possible (not always). Continue hydration and sun protection. Skin texture continues improving. |
